  • The amendments to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • The new Fair Pay Act
  • The very recent changes to the COBRA law
  • The much debated proposal entitled the Employment Non-Discrimination Act which will cover homosexuals, transgenders, etc.
  • The new Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act
  • The recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Crawford v. Metro Government of Nashville, which held that Title VII’s anti-retaliation provision protects employees from being fired for cooperating with an employer’s internal sexual harassment investigation.

We will also provide an update on Ohio Workers’ Compensation laws and programs and what the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has in store for employers in the coming months.

Because of the numerous topics being presented, we have decided to expand our program to three (3) hours, starting at 8:30 am and concluding at 11:30am.

We hope you can find the time to attend and remember, we present this program as a thank you to our clients and we also serve breakfast!
