On March 26, 2010, the BWC’s Board of Directors approved a new Drug Free Workplace Program that will now be known as the Drug Free Safety Program (DFSP). This Breakfast Briefing will discuss the new DFSP requirements, its application to all employers in Ohio, the new discounts and its advantages and disadvantages.  The biggest change to the new program is that group rated employers will once again be eligible for a small discount by participating.  We will also present a general discussion on alternatives to the DFSP and the best manner in which to protect your company in matters of illegal drug and alcohol use. The application deadline for the DFSP is June 30, 2010.

Who Should Attend
Any company that is currently enrolled in the DFWP; is or will be performing construction work on state jobs; is currently in a group for group rating purposes; or is considering whether or not to enroll in the new DFSP.
