Evelyn P. Schonberg Director and Principal
Lynn is a Director and Principal of the Firm. She is also one of the original founders. She heads the labor and employment practice and has spent her entire legal career defending the rights of employers. Lynn takes pride in counseling her clients on day-to-day labor and employment issues, including wage and hour, discipline and discharge, leaves of absence, employee handbooks, and structuring workforce reductions. In addition, Lynn provides annual educational programs for the Firm’s clients on legal developments and litigation avoidance techniques. Lynn has considerable litigation experience in both state and federal courts on a broad range of issues such as discrimination and harassment cases, and litigating non-compete and non-disclosure agreements.
Lynn is certified as a specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association in the practice of Labor and Employment law and has been repeatedly selected as an Ohio “Super Lawyer” by her fellow lawyers. Lynn has also achieved the rating of AV Preeminent® from Martindale-Hubbell, which is its highest rating for attorneys.
Prior to joining the Firm, Lynn served as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio from 1982 to 1985. Since then, Lynn has devoted her energies into exclusively defending management in all aspects of labor and employment law.
When Lynn is not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband and enjoys being a connoisseur of fine wines.
